We first met on May 10 (Mother's Day) 2009.  Our first date was coffee at Timothy's, Paul had just returned from having Mother's Day lunch with his mom, in Guelph.  After that, I did not think I would ever hear from Paul again.  However, the next day I send him a text message thanking him for coffee.  He replied asking whether or not I had received the text he sent the revious day, I had not.  He asked if I would consider having dinner with him.  Obviously, we went for dinner, I am so glad I did not miss the opportunity by not reaching out.  That summer was a summer of getting to know each other.  Paul moved in a year later and soon after that we purchased our first house together.  

We are so lucky to have found one another and to have so many wonderful people who care about us and want to celebrate our union with us!
