Bride

It was his birthday and I planned a whole day, filled with surprises.  We kicked off the celebration with a surprise visit to the spa. I had dinner reservations at a restaurant located out of town, on the water.  His brother and a few friends were expected to join us.  He knew we were going to dinner but he had no clue where.  He asked if my mom wanted to come along, but I didn't think much of it, as she sometimes hangs out with us.

Everyone enjoyed their meal and the birthday man cleaned up and got out of his chair to take a few pictures.  The scenery was beautiful with the restaurant being on the water and the city's skyline.  I winked at the waitress to remind her to bring the surprise cake and candles out for him, so that we could sing happy birthday.  He took a few pictures with his brother and I turned to get out of my chair and join him.  When I turned back around, he was down on one knee with a box that said ZALES and a ring.  That was the biggest surprise of the night and boy did he get me good and I said "YES".  The waitress returned and was just as surprised as I was, she stated " I think I should get another cake".  We all bursted out in laughter.

I asked him, " why on your birthday?, it was your day".  He replied with " you're my gift and I want you for a lifetime".

This is one of the many priceless value we love about each other.  We humble ourselves before each other.  We are always ensuring that the other is well, we put each other first.
