The couple met on match.com in June of 2011. Katie was living in Wisconsin at the time, and planning on moving for a job near where Tim was living at the time in Ardmore, PA. When Katie's east coast plans fell through, she ended up working in Denver.

But she and Tim kept in touch, and got to know each other through long letters, phone calls, skype, and many, many flights back and forth from Denver to Philadelphia.

Eventually, Katie moved out to the east coast and in April of 2012 they were together at last. They moved together into a little house in Gladwyne, PA, on the Schuykill River.

Since then, they have learned more and more about each other, and fallen more deeply in love with every joy and every trial that has come their way.

They now live together in downtown Philadelphia.
