Nope, not even his own. Ha Ha. Well, let's just say there were hints EVERYWHERE.....I knew something was happening, I just didn't know when. So on March 28, 2016 while driving in his car I was actually surprised when the following dialogue ensued:

John: You know I've been thinking, we should just shack up and have fun.

Tresa: What? How long have you been thinking that?

John: For a while. There are a lot of fish in the sea. So,I think that is better for us.

Tresa: I don't need to shack up to have fun. I can just live alone, single and still have fun.

Right about now, you can hear a pin drop.  Then, John hands me a ring box..

Tresa: What am I supposed to do with this?

John: I want to get married.

Tresa: Oh, okay.

Of course, we are both laughing and kissing by now....Yeah, we are a pretty unusual couple.  But we love it! 

I really didnt know how to propose to Tresa because I was so excited in getting the ring that I was just going to give it to her......but I realized that was not going to go well. So I decided to joke in the parking lot and that is how I proposed to Tresa. We always do things outside the box.
