We met in 2007 during a brief encounter at a local car wash. I was washing my car a few stalls down from Terry and our mutual friend, Marvette. Terry and I spoke, but that was pretty much it because I was in a relationship. Fast forward to 2011. After my class reunion, some friends and I were walking to a local bar when I passed by Marvette, Terry, and their group of friends. As I was talking to Marvette, Terry butted in and said that I didn't speak to him. So, I laughed and spoke to him. My friends and I continued on our way. In the following weeks, we got in contact with each other, through Marvette. And, the rest is pretty much history. We both went into it not expecting anything serious, but it evolved into so much more. Here we are, four years later, planning a wedding in beautiful Jamaica! Terry owes Marvette a commission fee!

It's pretty much the way she said it. I didn't know that the day we started kickin' it, that she would be The One. But, she is! Over the years, she has changed my life so much for the better. I'm glad to say God sent me my Queen and I'm thankful for that!
