Eric and I were first introduced in June of 2011 through E-Harmony.  After a couple of months talking, we met at MN Zoo for our first date. We walked around the zoo enjoying eachother's company. Towards the end of the morning, Aidan reached up for Eric's hand while walking beside him.  Eric had my heart from that moment on.  Eric has been a great father figure towards Aidan and they have created a special bond (usually the two of them against me). 

Eric and I both love to travel.  We have visited Las Vegas, Orlando, WI Dells, Atlanta, Louisville, Dallas/Fort Worth, and many camping and North Shore weekend getaways.  

In July of 2014, Eric and I went to Vegas for a convention but added a couple of extra days for some lounging time. On the first day there, Eric and I took a walk down the strip to the Mirage.  Eric walked up to a lady and asked her to take a picture of the two of us infront of the waterfalls.  We took the picture then Eric proceeded to hold my hand and got down on one knee.  We instantly had a crowd of people watching us as Eric proposed.  I of course said YES! 

Eric and I decided to build a house in "the middle of nowhere" (Stacy, MN) so we could be inbetween both sides of the family. I sold my house in Shakopee in October of 2014 and Eric's mom and step-dad kindly took us in so we could be close to the build.  We will be breaking ground in Spring of 2015 and closing on our house in the end of July/beginning of August 2015.

Our wedding is on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Elm Creek in Maple Grove, MN.  Our Ceremony will be outside the main area on the patio starting at 3:00pm.

The Social Hour, Dinner, and Dance will be inside the Chalet immediately following the Ceremony.  The Social Hour will be about an hour and a half so if anyone needs to go to the hotels inbetween. you will have plenty of time.

We have two hotel room blocks under Swenson/Elliott wedding.  The hotels are Holiday Inn Arbor Lakes, Maple Grove, MN and Courtyard Marriott Arbor Lakes, Maple Grove, MN.  These hotels are right next door to eachother and we have booked a shuttle at both hotels for our guests. 

Please try to book your room as soon as possible.  There is a national soccer tournament in the northern suburbs that week and all hotels in the area book fast.
