| We are extremely grateful that Vaughn and Sandy will stand with us as our besties and witness us putting pen to paper, becoming Mr. & Mrs. These 2 have been like long-lost siblings and so much more, from day one! #blessed is an understatment when it comes to these INCREDIBLE humans!! The Blacklocks are our travel companions and kindred spirits and have been from day one. Nothing forced, pretentious or 'too much'... granted, we only met at the end of 2015, at a very pivotal point in life for us, as we navigated a new journey with health and a new appreciation for what really mattered in life. Enter a trip to a resort called Emotions and a Canadian couple rooming beside us, Vaughn & Sandy and.... the rest is history in the making so, it only made sense to ask them to take this walk with us and witness our union as a married couple; not just because we love them and have shared so many incredible memories and so many adventures with them since that first trip when we met in the Dominican but also because in 2019, they will be celebrating their 25th Wedding Anniversary and, if they sprinkle a bit of that magic on us, well, who knows !! Choosing 'best people' is never easy and, we believe that each and everyone who is with us in Jamaica, sharing our special day is witness to this special time and new committment and for that we are so very grateful so, THANK YOU, every single one of you. Sure, it's not the first marriage for either of us and, certainly with age comes wisdom and a season where you come to know, with great certainty, that when you've lived 'traditional' wedding vows for as long as we have, you know the depth and power and meaning in your soul.
